Mr.Tony Brown is one of the talk show hosts on Chicago radio station WLS 890 AM (http://www.wlsam.com).  He is a public speaker, the founding dean of the School of Communications at Howard University and the author of Black Lies, White Lies and Empower the People. Mr. Brown made several anti-India remarks on his Radio show. Read his India Bashing remarks 
 
We strongly protested with the radio station WLS 890 AM. Several emails were sent to them. Mr.Brown was quick enough to express his regrets for his remarks. We thank him for this conciliatory gesture towards Indians.
 
In his apology, Mr.Brown said, "The statements I made were derived from either books or articles that I read. Still, I had not considered the possibility of bigots using the information to persecute the Hindu minority in this country." "That does not excuse me from the pain that I have caused by not being more circumspect." (Rediff)
 
Several Indian-Americans who heard the talk show also called Indian newspapers in Chicago and sent protest emails to the radio station. Thanks to all who supported this campaign.

Protests by Indian-American community leaders have led to a United States radio host publicly apologising for his remarks against Hindus and Hinduism during a talk show.

Tony Brown, in his talk show on WLS 890 AM that began with the concern among American workers about the influx of software engineers from India, said, "For the salary that they pay to one American worker, they can hire 9.5 workers from India."

India has the worst human rights record in the world.
 
There are one billion people in India, of whom 500 million live in poverty. There is no such thing as a welfare system. The upper caste Hindus believe in persecuting the lower caste people
 
Hinduism created a system of segregation or apartheid so that the pure people can be kept away from the impure. Women are impure, foreigners are impure.
 
Women in India are never free. First, she is under the control of her parents, after marriage she gets under the control of her husband, and after his death under the control of her children.

He invented a new theory that female children and women of lower castes are forced into prostitution

There are 300 million gods in Hinduism. You do not have to believe in one god to be a Hindu. Christians have a Bible. Jews have a Bible. Muslims have a Koran, but there is no Hindu Bible. There is no central creed what a Hindu believes. There is no hierarchy like the Pope, the cardinals and so forth.
 
Mr.Brown is said to have promised more shows on the topic of bashing Hinduism.
