Who will remove the garbage on the road to the Ashram?

Who will remove the garbage on the road to the ashram? 2014-Mission of the Hindu Gurus MISSION OF THE GURUS IN FIVE PARTS INFORM THE GURUS This is a non parochial-analysis of the Hindu leadership; the Gurus, and the organizations that they founded, based on ancient Hindu values that form the last citadel of Hindu leadership, as most others have either failed or vanished. In these troubled times, we are trying to define the role of Hindu leadership, and the role of Hindu Gurus. Hindus who form even now form majority of the Indian Population are not willfully neglected but ignored as they do not form a vote bank, and hence do not affect the election fortunes of the political animal and hence not noticed by the Selfish Hindu politician. This is a vicious cycle … Read entire article »

My Congratulations To Wharton

So they got blindsided with this shrill Petition signed by 178 Professors led by Ania Joomba, Suvir Kaul and T. Ghose, threatening them with grave-sounding State Department bureaucratese from a 2005 SNAFU. They advised the students to be smart and let go on the rope a bit – and watch the Petition Gang tangle themselves in a heap. Shri Arvind Kejriwal, the new face of Indian politics that Wharton lined up at short notice, delivered the coup de grace with statesmanlike class[1]: “I am not a supporter of Mr Modi. In fact, I don’t agree with him on many things and have publicly opposed him on many occasions. However, I would like to put on record my dismay at the cancellation of his invitation to speak at this forum. To … Read entire article »

Time to Modi-fy India

Enough is enough. India is sick and tired. We are sick of lies and deceptions, of scams and cover-ups, of promises and failures, of vote bank and divisive politics, of nepotism and sycophancy. We are tired of the bickering, pompous politicians and their ignoble associates, the dynastic rulers, the family business of politics and the scams and schemes they manage. We are appalled by the directionless and disengaged government, awestruck by its leadership or the lack of it, disgusted with its indifference to the need of its citizenry and terrified by its indecisiveness on matters as basic as internal and external security. We are mocked as the mango people of the banana republic. We are made to believe that the country is for the privileged and the influential and the rest only entitled to crumbs. … Read entire article »

Rape cannot happen in Bharat: Biased British media

Rape cannot happen in Bharat: British media’s Bias It is a case of ‘Shame for the British’ that even after exploiting India for 200 years, creating man made famines killing millions, ruthless killings and destructions during any uprising against its evil rule over India, British for the last 60 years are engaged in massive propaganda campaign against India. The coverage of the case of a rape and murder of a medical student in New Delhi demonstrates that the British media is trying to prove the culture and religion of India, coupled with complete indifference of the civil, law enforcement, judicial and other aspects of society have made rape and assult against women rampant and unchecked. It is trying to prove the superirity of the British culture and the ‘White Man’s Burden’ … Read entire article »

What are You Grateful for This ThanksGiving?

This ThanksGiving November, as I look back on my life within the framework of my goals, vision, commitments and passion, I wonder about what gives life meaning. Especially in the wake of Superstorm Sandy, I wonder if I have learned how to live life to the fullest. If this were the end of the world as we know it, I wonder what I would say. Two words glare into focus…THANK YOU!! I’ve lived a wonderful life, for which I’m sincerely grateful. Yes, there have been peaks and troughs. Elation for things that I could change; anger and frustration for those that I couldn’t. Things that I cherished but were fleeting; things that I received but of which I didn’t understand the significance. But the strong and resilient person that I am … Read entire article »

A Nation of Sexed Up Priorities

The contemporary obfuscation of fiscal sodomy  “We don’t need more sex – we’re already being fucked constantly by Wall Street and the government.” – Jean Sheridan, resident of Evanston, Illinois. “Murder is an individual crime, mostly isolated – financial murder is mass murder,so why not capital punishment? ‘Capital crime’ is what financial crooks pursue, in the hope that risk becomes manageable, and ‘capital punishment’ should be its consequence. This is no pun, nor is it onomatopoeic…” Financial Blogger, 2010 Before I proceed, here’s a brief legal description of sodomy: [sodomy n. anal copulation by a man inserting his penis in the anus either of another man or a woman. If accomplished by force, without consent, or with someone incapable of consent, sodomy is a felony in all states in the same way that rape is. … Read entire article »

Formula for Successful Developed Nation

Introduction  The blog presents a formula of five pillars for nation building using education reforms. The formula is outlined after the introduction of two educational models and some ideas for building a lesson plan for the positive thinking. The two models emphasize continuous updating of the content in discussions with a team of teacher’s. As an example of potentially relevant content, the suggested reading section lists an article by Dr. Bhamy Shenoy. It advocates use of Gandhian solutions to solve some of world’s energy and environmental problems. It can be a lesson in creative thinking and may be relevant for including in the content based teaching and learning. I intuitively believe that the Gandhian solutions are not an option for all of global challenges, in general and India’s problems in particular. My views … Read entire article »
